Our open:close sensor is a long range wireless sensor which can be used for opened/closed applications that provide information on the status of doors, windows, cabinets, gates etc.
So any entrance into a security room which is not allowed, or if a door or window has been left open, can be monitored. This sensor is compatible with LoRaWAN technology.
The dewin open:close technology has been introduced within the agricultural sector, with devices mounted to gates and farm buildings, enabling the users of any movement of objects from their desired positions directly to their mobile phones. Through the use of LoRaWAN, this system covers a wide area, enabling the farmer to have mobility to be working anywhere on the farm, knowing that the open:close technology is fully effective. All using very low levels of power.
Open:close therefore enables a more efficient and improved control of land and stock bringing significant financial benefits, in addition to increased levels of security and safety, particularly within areas where non-farm traffic is prominent e.g ramblers.
Now, dewin open:close is available within all areas of the public sector to provide better services to the general public and a safer, more efficient public space.
Features.
Dewin open:close can be fixed on doors, gates, lids; essentially any object that has an open:close function that you would like to monitor.
A unique feature of dewin open:close is the pre-programmed time delay to minimise false alerts. Take a gate, that will inevitably waver in strong winds. This could lead to a number of false notifications telling you the gate has opened. We want to avoid this. We have therefore worked on developing a solution that will not be triggered by short intervals of open status.
The hardware has been developed to withstand periods of harsh weather conditions, and the metal cabling reduces the risk of rodent damage.
We will prepare the hardware ready for installation. It will be configured to connect with LoRaWAN gateways within its range.
If you don't have access to a gateway, let us know, and we can discuss options on installing a gateway to meet your needs.

Setup.
The dewin.tech team will help you set-up the solution. We can set the alert timing to meet your needs, and if you invest in multiple devices, each can have its own bespoke set-up.
You will be provided with fully protected access to the dewin platform that will allow you to adjust key features. You may specify names to each device, such as "Front Gate" or "Red Shed Door." It's important for us that the dewin experience is as simple and convenient as possible.
